The 2009 season of MotoGP World Championship was launched on April 12th, at the Grand Prix of Quatar.

On the starting line, Bastien Chesaux, 17 years? old, the youngest pilot in his category to compete. We will follow carefully this young Swiss who runs this season at the handlebars of a Honda 250, in the Racing Team Germany.

Among the sponsors, Mathys SA which has been providing support for 3 years and hopes to help achieve his dream of becoming world champion.

This partnership should enable CCIG members to be better acquained  with our specific services and knowhow.  Accordingly, we shall be associated with CCIG's non-thematical conferences and events throughout the year and generally benefit from its activities in favor of Geneva's economic development.

?Mathys Espaces de Communication? itself attracted many visitors' attention with its modern,  epured booth.  Mathys'  five communication spaces and its large range of services were clearly successfully communicated in an attractively understated approach.

Mathys were given carte blanche to render the new showroom ?fun and attractive?, a creative challenge relished by the entire Mathys team. From developing the original concept, to deciding colour schemes, storage solutions and the interior dynamics of the showroom, the Mathys Design Bureau won over the client with its creativity and design solutions, with a successful marriage of simplicity and efficiency!

Mathys? comprehensive in-house infrastructure meant that all elements of the shop fit could be handled at our dedicated premises, in Geneva, including all graphics, furniture, display cabinets and even seating were made in the Mathys? workshops. In fact the entire project was put in Mathys safe hands, enabling us to act both as design consultants and project manager: only the installation of the flooring was outsourced.

The installation of the shop was executed in record time, which enabled Elna Suisse to re-open their showroom at the earliest possible opportunity. Consequently, they can now provide their clients with the comfort and convenience of shopping in a new modern retail outlet that reflects the quality and performance of their distinguished brand. This first project will serve as a trial run for future shop fittings for Elna Suisse stores across Europe.

Under the creative and conceptual direction of the Roger Pfund Studio, Mathys SA is proud to play an integral part in staging the Chinese exhibition, which will take place in the Olympic Museum in Lausanne until October 26, 2008. The imagery and poetic texts in Mandarin will be printed directly onto rigid supports, a feat achieved by using Mathys versatile Vutek QS printer.

Roger Pfund has already exhibited in China, taking the opportunity to display his personal Artistic Work in the famous Today Art Museum of Beijing; an exhibition which was warmly received and deemed a success.

Back in Switzerland, a retrospective of this exhibition entitled Roger Pfund, from Beijing to Geneva 08, was held in Palexpo from June 25 to July 7, and once again Roger turned to Mathys SA to help him successfully stage the exhibition at Geneva?s premier conference and exhibitions venue.
